Dawn of X

Reading Order

After HoX / PoX comes the dawn of a new age of X-Men comics. Initially launching as six titles, the Dawn of X gradually grew by adding four more ongoing titles and three limited series. It’s like a flashback to the 90’s with title overload! But this time the writers are actually coordinating with each other…

Initial launch titles (Wave 1) include X-Men, Marauders, Excalibur, New Mutants, X-Force and Fallen Angels. We have an episode for each number 1 of these six titles as well as an episode looking at the first six issue arcs of these six titles.

After the first volumes of our six launch titles we did an episode bringing all our big thoughts together – Dawn of X Opening Arcs.

Five of the titles continue (RIP Fallen Angels) and new ongoing titles are introduced, including Wolverine, Cable, Hellions and X-Factor, along with the Giant Size series of one-shots and a Fantastic Four / X-Men mini series.

From here the podcast jumps forward, Alicia does a massive binge read so that she can experience the Hellfire Gala in real time. I occasionally think about going back and filling in this time with some episodes, especially one covering X of Swords.
