These two! Nightcrawler and Wolverine, two of my favorite X-Men. This scene hit me in the heart y’all. A beautiful moment that celebrates their friendship over the years.
It reminded me of this classic page of the two bonding over the upcoming unknown, while also introducing Kurt as a man of faith. 1983’s Uncanny X-Men 165 is the first in Paul Smith’s run as penciler and he’s already sold us his magic for facial expression and emotion. Brood be damned!!
